Let’s dive in!
Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you came to work at inari?
I’m a QA Engineer with over 5 years of experience in the industry. Before joining inari, I worked at mid-sized companies and consultancies, gaining valuable expertise in various technologies across both manual and automated testing. I joined inari because I was looking for a new challenge to continue growing professionally, and so far, I’ve been thrilled with the supportive team and the positive work environment here.
Tell us about your day-to-day role at inari and what areas of your job at inari you most enjoy?
At inari I work currently as a QA Manager. I help ensure our products meet the highest quality by testing them thoroughly and improving our processes for greater efficiency. I also assist the QA team with whatever they need and stay up-to-date on the latest tools and technologies to identify opportunities that can benefit our work. What I enjoy most is solving problems, collaborating with the team, and continuously learning to help us deliver the best results.
What attracted you to the technology/insurtech sector?
I was drawn to the insurtech sector because it’s transforming a traditional industry through innovation. I enjoy ensuring high-quality products in a rapidly evolving field, tackling challenges, and contributing to solutions that build trust and efficiency.
What advice would you give to someone looking to start a career in your field?
My advice for someone starting a career in QA is to focus on building a strong foundation in testing principles, both manual and automated, while staying curious about new tools and technologies. Develop problem-solving and communication skills, as they’re key to collaborating effectively with teams. Finally, embrace a mindset of continuous learning – QA is an ever-evolving field, and staying up-to-date is essential for growth and success.
What do you like to do in your free time outside of work?
Outside of work, I love traveling, dancing, singing, and enjoying the arts in general. On sunny days, I especially enjoy taking a stroll with my dog to the beach. Spending quality time with my loved ones is very important to me, and I also value building new connections and meeting interesting people.
What’s one surprising fact about you that most people at inari wouldn’t know?
One thing most people don’t know is that before becoming a QA, I actually wanted to be a doctor. However, my fear of needles ended up pushing me away from that path!
