Reflecting on 2025: A Year of Progress, Product Depth, and Collaboration

As 2025 comes to an end, we take a moment to reflect on a year defined by meaningful progress, product innovation, and strong collaboration across the insurance ecosystem.

At inari, our mission remains unchanged: to modernise insurance through technology that delivers clarity, control, and real-world outcomes for underwriters, MGAs, and carriers. Throughout 2025, that mission guided every conversation, every release, and every partnership.

Below, we look back at some of the key milestones that shaped our year.

Industry presence & events

In 2025, inari participated in a few major industry events across Europe and the United States, strengthening our role in the global insurtech conversation and staying closely connected to the challenges underwriters face today.

Insurtech Insights Europe 2025 (London)

We were proud sponsors and exhibitors at Insurtech Insights Europe, one of the largest insurtech events in the region. The event reinforced a clear shift in the market: away from speculative innovation and toward solutions that deliver tangible results today.

Key themes included the growing maturity of the insurtech sector, the practical application of AI, and the move from monolithic systems toward interconnected ecosystems of specialised applications. Conversations with insurers, MGAs, and fellow insurtechs validated our belief that flexibility, integration, and governance are now non-negotiable.

Insurtech Insights USA 2025 (New York)

At Insurtech Insights USA, inari once again sponsored and exhibited at the event, engaging with the North American market from our booth at the Javits Center.

Our CEO, Frank Perkins, also joined the panel “Strategic Synergies: Unlocking Value Through Insurance Partnerships”, where industry leaders discussed how collaboration and modular technology are enabling insurers and MGAs to scale sustainably. The discussions echoed what we consistently hear from the market: technology must support growth without sacrificing control.

MGAA Annual Conference 2025

At the MGAA Annual Conference, we showcased how inari’s Underwriting Workbench supports the delegated authority ecosystem. Our focus was on demonstrating how structured workflows, automation, and rule-based governance help underwriters manage complexity while maintaining auditability and transparency.

Rather than a sales pitch, the event was an opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to the broader conversation about the future of underwriting operations.

InsTech Tech Decanter Wine Tasting (London)

For the second year in a row, inari proudly sponsored InsTech’s Tech Decanter Wine Tasting in London. The event brought together insurance professionals for an evening that blended thoughtful discussion with craftsmanship.

Through a unique parallel between winemaking and underwriting, the evening highlighted a shared philosophy: great outcomes rely on structure, expertise, technology, and time. It was a reminder that innovation is as much about people and process as it is about tools.

Product & technology: ongoing innovation

In 2025, we released more than ten new features to the Kitsune platform, all informed by feedback from underwriting teams and designed to address real-world workflows.

Key areas of focus include:

Governance, compliance & control

Enhancements to policy workflow governance will deliver smarter, stage-specific controls and contextual alerts, helping underwriters manage dependencies and maintain data integrity.

Automation, AI & efficiency

New capabilities, including automated bordereaux generation, policy auto-triage, and natural-language policy summaries, are designed to reduce manual effort and rework, helping teams move faster while maintaining accuracy. Features such as real-time sanctions screening and clash management aim to further reduce operational risk.

Data & insights

Our AI and analytics improvements focus on delivering actionable insights. Enhanced dashboards and KPIs provide managers with real-time visibility, while claims data and loss history integration support better underwriting decisions.

Integrations & ecosystem

Integrations, including credit control workflows and Whitespace platform connectivity, aim to streamline data flow, eliminate duplicate entry, and accelerate submissions-to-bind.

These initiatives highlight our commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that Kitsune evolves with the realities of underwriting work.

Recognition

In 2025, inari was once again named one of the Top 100 InsurTechs in the InsurTech 100, reflecting our commitment to meaningful innovation and the trust of our clients.

Partnerships & collaboration

Throughout the year, we strengthened strategic partnerships, working closely with collaborators who share our vision for modular, interoperable insurance technology. These relationships are shaping our roadmap and reinforcing the value of building together.

People & culture

Behind every initiative is a team committed to excellence. In 2025, this included collaborative workshops with partners in Barcelona and moments of celebration at our year-end dinner. Strong culture and shared experiences remain essential to sustainable growth.

Looking ahead

Our progress in 2025 is a direct result of our team’s dedication, client trust, and ongoing engagement with the insurance community.

As we look toward 2026, we remain focused on delivering technology that empowers underwriters, supports profitable growth, and brings clarity to complexity.

From all of us at inari, thank you for being part of the journey, and here’s to building what comes next, together.
